Holon, located 20 minutes off Tel-Aviv, has established itself as Israel’s design center, mainly due to the beautiful Design Museum, which was designed by the renowned architect Ron Arad.
This year’s theme was ‘On Clothes and Cities’ and offered a 2-days conference, where guests had the honor to listen to Mega star designer, Berlin-based Damir Doma, editor and gallerist Carla Sozzani, Shala Monroque, and of course some of the best Israeli design minds.
I was there on the behalf of Lomography to take analogue pictures with my Sardina camera at the opening gala, which included some heavy stylish people, designers, models and buffet from top chef Eyal Shani. All in all a great event, looking forward to Design Week 2013!
