Gal Feldman founded Gal Handbags in 2004. Over the years, Gal has developed her own characteristic style: harmoniously combining experimental designs with traditional craftsmanship. Gal's small productions allow her to maintain a high quality level and a personalized touch. Her designs are shown at the MOMA in NY and at The Israel Museum in Jerusalem
A graduate of Israel's prestigious Shenkar College, Maya Negri's collections can best be described as possessing a 'minimalistic sculptural quality, monochromatic palette with a touch of avant-garde'. Her designs are geared towards the busy workingwoman who does not want to compromise style for comfort and fit. Negri strongly believes in clothing being versatile, and feeling like a 'second skin'. Negri takes a holistic approach to her designs, and has established a brand that is as much focused on living a healthy and inspired life as it is on fashion. Negri pulls a lot of her inspiration from Japanese fashion and its minimalist, structural look. Her pieces are streamlined yet feminine, and each garment tells the story of a confident woman who will choose to wear it.
Even during his studies in Israel's prestigious Fashion College Shenkar, Ronen Chen was already selling his designs to boutiques in Tel Aviv. Within no time after graduating, he set out to design his own unique label of high quality women's clothing at affordable prices.
In 1994 he opened his first boutique on Tel Aviv's fashionable Shenkin Street where he designed simple yet sophisticated dresses inspired by geometric shapes. Gradually as his clientele grew, he opened more stores and expanded his collection, all the while remaining faithful to his original design concept of femininity, modernity and comfort. Today Ronen Chen has a flourishing retail and wholesale business in Israel. He owns 11 concept stores under his name and is sold in 50 additional specialty boutiques nationwide.
Arguably the most recognizable Israeli designer to date, Sigal Dekel has been putting her clothes on the market since 2000 with 14 stores across Israel and several stores abroad, she's really outdone herself by Israeli fashion standards. Sigal Dekel's line has always been known for its sculpted shift dresses, sleeveless balloon frocks, harem pants, crisp trousers, white button downs, cut tweed blazers, and bubble skirts. Her pieces are the ideal items for timeless, but modern ready-to-wear for the strong and well-dressed Israeli woman. If you're tired of the tie-dye leggings, bold neon, and loud patterns currently on the market today, Sigal Dekel is the perfect go-to for feminine looks with an avant-garde twist. Her ruffles, draped hems, and structured cuts are unmatched.
There's something for everyone. Perfect for the modern woman in any country who wants to keep on trend without going over-the-top.
Kedem Sasson is a graduate of a Leading Israeli school of art. His education included studies in painting, sculpture, jewelry and residential interior design. Over 17 years ago, motivated by his zaftig wife's meager and unimaginative clothing options, Kedem introduced his first fashion collection for plus size women. Specializing within the plus size domain, but worn by all, allows Kedem the freedom to work abundantly with fabric, Using it to construct shapes and forms as paintings on a canvas. "My imagination goes wild when I start out creating each design, turning a blank canvas into three dimensional wearable arts". Kedem has changed the public's opinion of the genre, creating appreciation and adoration for a category of the fashion market often neglected and rarely celebrated. An expansion at the Tel Aviv store allowed the introduction of a stylish and original Kedem Mens line, and more fashions in standard women's sizes. Kedem's 2009 appearance as "The Mentor" on "Project Runway Israel" cemented his position within the top group of Israel's fashion movers and shakers.
Noritamy is a design house specializing in sculpture oriented jewelry with dramatic presence. Noritamy founders, Tammar Edelman and Elinor Avni, explore contemporary jewelry making while borrowing concepts from post-modern architecture. The unique signature jewelry combines classical forms of jewelry making and modern design, creating a constant dialogue between new and old, classic and modern. Every Noritamy piece in the collection starts its life in an inventive brainstorming session after which a 3D model is constructed. Each item is then handmade with care and precision. Tammar Edelman studied art and jewelry in New York and Tel Aviv. Tammar specializes in the creation of brass, silver, and gold jewelry. Elinor Avni is an Interior Architect by training. Prior to jewelry making, she has designed residential and commercial spaces. Samples of her work were published in professional magazines in Israel, Singapore and elsewhere.
Rina Zin has been a top-end fashion designer for 20 years and has gathered a loyal clientele that is drawn to the unique language, mysteriousness and subliminal text of her designs, as well as to the careful craftsmanship that is characteristic of her creations. In every collection made by Rina Zin there is an idea that is woven through it like a thread. Her designs are characterized by very feminine, sophisticated, clean and tailored lines, which are also sensual and soft, flattering, while having a dialogue with the wearer's body. Rina Zin's collections are known for their high quality dressmaking and finish, befitting haute couture. The designs combine fabrics and knits with differing degrees of sheerness, metallic tints and textures, which are also subjected to unusual dyeing, softening and other unique fabric manipulations. The color palette that characterizes Rina's collections has a highly defined language, yet surprisingly rich in its tints: black and white next to an array of soft colors such as grays and maroons, producing a trademark color palette that Rina's designs are well known for.
