AUDIO: Turkish TV choses 70s Israeli hit as Olympics promo
The station has chosen a 1970s Israeli pop song – “Bim Bam Bom” as the score for its London Games promo.
Yoram Taharlev, the song writer, told Yedioth Ahronoth Thursday that “It’s thrilling to learn that this song, which is about to turn 50, has won the Turks’ hearts.”
