Is Twitter Playing Cupid For Former Lovebirds Bar Refaeli & Leonardo DiCaprio? (DETAILS)

Is the universe conspiring to reunite former lovebirds Leonardo DiCaprio and Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli? Looks that way to us, if we believe what we just read on Bar’s Twitter feed!

This morning the blonde with a body and sense of humor to die for, revealed that Twitter has been egging her on to reconnect with her J. Edgar Hoover star and animal rights-loving ex.

Bar laughs off the possibility of Twitter playing Cupid, but we know from experience that the cosmos, using the most popular social media tool man has ever invented, works in mysterious ways.

Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has been approached to compete on ABC’s top reality TV show Dancing with the Stars, Abbanibi has learned.

Looks like after last year’s participation of Eliaabetta Canalis, a model who famously dated George Clooney, Dancing with the Stars producers want to fill the ‘supermodel who was dating a movie star’ spot, and Refaeli (who dated Leonardo DiCaprio for 5 years)is one of the most successful models in the world right now, with a gossip-ish past.

“Yes they did turned to Bar,” manager and mother Zipi Refaeli commented to AbbaNibi.com about the rumor, “but ,she can’t commit to something like that ,because of her hectic work schedule.”

Unfortunately, we did not receive a comment from ABC by the time of publish, but looks like the ball has dropped and it’s up to Dancing with the Stars’ casting team to negotiate.

Bar’s “hectic work schedule” includes, in the past few months, a full promo schedule for ‘Escada’ perfume plus fashion campaigns for GAP fit and Arrow (alongside Josh Duhamel). Refaeli, who’s currently in Paris, is also leading campaigns in France, Colombia and Israel.

Abbanibi is getting the phone ready to vote, just in case Bar and ABC are able to work the schedule out.

As the winter looms and the rest of us look pasty and puffy thanks to holiday parties and mince pies, Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli proves she’s still hot to trot in a new campaign for Gap Fit.

Looking bronzed and glowing, the 26-year-old is seen laughing in the new ads for the retail giant’s line of workout clothes.

The images bear the slogan, ‘For Life As You Live It’, a particularly appropriate tag line for Miss Refaeli.

No stranger to exercise herself, she hones her enviable body with regular visits the gym and the Israeli self defence technique Krav Maga.

Krav Maga is a hand-to-hand combat system used by Israeli defence forces, and is incorporated frequently into choreographed fight scenes in Hollywood films.

In other words, she’s no softie when it comes to training.  And when she can, the model also loves to ride horses- a great workout for those thigh muscles.

Miss Refaeli, a former flame of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, is a favourite among swimwear and lingerie brands for her flawless skin, toned bod and sought after curves.

In the past few months she has posed in a calendar for lingerie label Passionata and a campaign for swimwear brand Agua Bendita. 

She has also been guest starring on E!’s Scouted, a show that follows a model agency’s search for new talent.

Back from a recent tip to Brazil and with a sprinkling of sizzling new campaigns behind her, Miss Refaeli was spotted this week shopping with friends sans make-up in New York City.

The appearance was in stark contrast with her cover girl image, and fellow shoppers barely recognised her.
